A strategic audit to enhance storytelling, engagement, and digital performance

The goal was to evaluate Acne Studios’ digital ecosystem and identify opportunities to strengthen consumer engagement and competitive positioning. The challenge was preserving the brand’s minimalist, artistic identity while improving storytelling, community interaction, and content diversity across platforms. Success was measured through strategic clarity, actionable insights, and alignment between brand values and digital execution.
For this project, the client was Acne Studios - specifically targeting fashion-conscious, design-driven consumers seeking minimalist, inclusive luxury.
I conducted a competitive digital marketing audit across Acne Studios’ website, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. The process included platform analysis, strengths-weaknesses assessment, and consumer persona development. A key insight was the gap between strong visual coherence and limited narrative depth.
I focused on how craftsmanship, process, and cultural values could be translated into more engaging, platform-specific storytelling without compromising brand integrity.
The project resulted in a set of clear, actionable recommendations to enhance Acne Studios’ digital presence, including improved storytelling, increased behind-the-scenes content, and stronger community interaction. While exploratory, the audit demonstrates strategic thinking, platform literacy, and the ability to balance luxury branding with engagement-driven media strategies.
